Assisted Living Week was a success, partly because of East Dubuque Mayor Kirk VanOstrand. We sincerely thank him for his Proclamation of Assisted Living Week. Declaring that the week of September 9-14th was dedicated to our assisted living community proves that the city of East Dubuque supports our business and the premier services we provide to our residents. The staff and residents at Bell Tower along with our guests enjoyed the Sunday morning proclamation and time to visit with Mayor VanOstrand. Throughout the week we had many guests and are grateful for the support from the community. A huge thank you goes out to the students and staff of East Dubuque Elementary School and members of the tristate area. We had a goal of 100 birthday cards be sent to our resident Doretta Alger to help her celebrate her 100th Birthday on September 5th. We surpassed that goal by many! All the cards were an
important part of her birthday celebration. She has re read them many times.
Lastly, October 6th - October 12th is Fire Prevention Week. We would like to thank our East Dubuque Volunteer Fire Fighters. We all appreciate their continuous training and hard work to keep Bell Tower and the entire community of East Dubuque safe. Be sure to thank our firefighters this month. ~Bell Tower
